Our Mission and Vision
At Uplifting Caregivers Association (UCA), our mission is to support and uplift healthcare caregivers, nurses, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), etc., by providing financial assistance and resources to meet their essential needs.
We are dedicated to empowering those who work tirelessly to care for others by helping them overcome personal challenges such as car repairs, educational expenses, past-due bills, emergency situations, groceries, and childcare. Through community-driven fundraising and advocacy, we aim to create a safety net for the caregivers who are the backbone of the healthcare system, ensuring they can continue their vital work with peace of mind and stability.
(UCA) Uplifiting Care Givers Association was created by Quad Cities Service Providers LLC, a dedicated organization that operates HCBS (Home and Community-Based Services) community site homes for adults with disabilities and special needs in Davenport, Bettendorf, and Burlington, Iowa. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by healthcare professionals in the field, Quad Cities Service Providers LLC, established UCA to offer direct financial assistance to caregivers, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) etc., who work with such dedication to support vulnerable populations. This nonprofit was born out of the commitment to not only care for those with disabilities but also to uplift and support the dedicated professionals who make a difference in their lives every day.
Current Initiative
Join us in our mission to provide essential support and resources to caregivers in need. Your contribution helps us make a difference in the lives of those who selflessly care for others. Together, we can uplift a caregiver and empower the community through our current initiative. As a newly established nonprofit, UCA is currently in the fundraising stage to build the resources needed to support healthcare professionals in our community. We are working diligently to raise the necessary funds and anticipate being able to start accepting grant applications for financial assistance beginning in January 2025. To kick off our fundraising efforts, we completed a very large yard sale that was successful. We want to thank the community for the donations and all those who came out to support us that day. This event made it possible for us to help several families this last Holiday season. We were able to provide meals and gifts. We are also having our first even End of Summer Carnival Bash at the LeClaire Park in Davenport, IA. Come support caregivers while having fun listening to live music, eating good food, exploring vendors, and much more! We are encouraging the community to continue supporting this vital cause!
